Amtrak now runs on Dunkin’ Donuts and will begin offering coffee options during Acela Express high-speed train journeys along the Northeast Corridor (DC – Boston).
There is already a strong commitment to airports and train stations by Dunkin’ Donuts, but the addition of coffee products on specific Amtrak trains further cements the company’s dedication to travelers.
“Both Amtrak and Dunkin’ Donuts share a long heritage of serving on-the-go Americans, and we are thrilled for the opportunity to help keep Acela Express passengers energized with Dunkin’ Donuts hot coffee whenever and wherever they are traveling,” Dunkin’ Donuts vice president Chris Fuqua said in a statement.
Amtrak plans to offer Dunkin’ Donuts hot coffees on all of Amtrak’s Northeast Regional trains that operate throughout the Northeast Corridor by the end of 2017.
Passengers on the Acela Express will be able to enjoy more legroom, spacious seats, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The Amtrak trains offer hourly service between New York City, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia and other intermediate cities.
