In total, AA will offer codeshare service on BA to up to 110 destinations while BA will codeshare on AA flights to 187 cities in the US, Mexico, Caribbean and Latin America.

American Airlines revised its policy concerning changes to nonrefundable tickets. Effective immediately, customers with nonrefundable tickets that allow changes will have a full year from the date the original ticket was issued to reschedule without losing the value of the ticket provided that they cancel their reservations prior to the scheduled departure time. AA's previous policy required customers with nonrefundable tickets not only to cancel but also to rebook a new flight and have the ticket reissued no later than the originally scheduled departure date.
