AIRLINES
First Class
Taipei to Los
Angeles
Dinner: This shows the appetizer course, with caviar
as one of many selections. "This is the sort of in
flight service that really does it for me....gracious,
friendly, and gentle...and the dinner ware and crystal
glasses are a delight to the eyes."
Bangkok to Kuala Lumpu
Lunch: Delicious Beef with mixed Vegetable and Rice,
together with a tasty Chardonnay White Wine. "Nice
Service, good and cold White Wine".
Economy Class
Phuket to Kuala
Lumpur
Dinner: Sweet & sour chicken and steam rice, with
a sweet custard tart with pre-packed mineral water.
"Adequately tasty"
W. Malaysia to Kuching, E. Malaysia (Sarawak)
Lunch: Ginger chicken with Malaysian-style curried
rice and vegetables. "Considering it was a short hour
and twenty minute domestic flight, the food was
excellent, far better than anything offered in North
America where most airlines can't be bothered to serve
anything. The girls had the food on the trays within
20 minutes of takeoff, it was hot, clearly fresh, and
quite well cooked. The flan-like dessert was very
subtle: a combination of coconut and (probably)
mangosteen."

Economy Class
Amsterdam to
Budapest
Brunch: "Assorted cold-cuts, pickled paprikas, and a
jam-filled cookie with a wide assortment of beverages.
My choice was apple juice and later tea. The cold cuts
were excellent, especially the
turkey breast with sausage embedded in the slices. The
Hungarian paprika-rich sausages are always wonderful
as well."
