Delta Air Lines

Delta Air Lines has rescheduled the launch of its new flights to Kenya because of political turbulence. The airline planned to start flights on June 2 but has postponed the flights until Dec. 8. Mar 31, 2008

Emirates Airlines, Airbus

Emirates reveals its colors for its new Airbus A380 as the first aircraft glides out of a Hamburg hangar dressed to the nines. A further 58 double-decker aircraft are on order for the Dubai carrier and will be the second to operate the very large aircraft. Apr 4, 2008

Ethiopian Airlines

Ethiopian Airlines will resume twice-weekly 737-700 service from Addis Ababa to Riyadh and Kuwait City in mid-June. It also announced a codeshare deal with Lufthansa beginning March 30 on each carrier's ADD-Frankfurt service. Mar 31, 2008

South African Airways

South African Airways Vacations is refining and revamping its vacation package program that targets North Americans. Now known as SAA Vacations, the new program, known for offering affordable luxury packages to Africa, will offer an enhanced website and new collateral for travel agents." Renaming our vacation division reflects the heightened visibility and success of the program," said Marc Cavaliere, executive vice president, North America for South African Airways. "We initially chose the name 'Visit Southern Africa or VSA Vacations,' in order to reflect the region we serve, and that has served us well. Renaming it will make it easier for travelers to remember.
