Bus: The Municipality of Anchorage People Mover bus route 7 (907) 343 6543; www.muni.org/transit1 runs between the airport and downtown Anchorage and the Dimond Center. Shuttle: A door-to-door shuttle service is offered by Eagle River Shuttle (907) 694 8888, Shuttle Man (907) 677 8537 and Talkeetna Shuttle 1 888 288 6008 in the USA only); there are more shuttles available. Taxi fare USD 15, journey time 20 mins.

Taxi: Taxis are available at each terminal, operated by Alaska Yellow Cab (907) 222 2222 and Checker Cab (907) 276 1234. At the South Terminal, the taxi stand is at the ground transportation island, which can be reached via the underground transportation hall or via the pavement outside baggage reclaim. At the North Terminal, the taxi stand is located directly outside the Arrivals hall.

Courtesy airport shuttles operate to many hotels in the area; this service can be arranged via the telephone information boards in the baggage reclaim area.
