Airport Overview
Chicago O'Hare airport is located northwest of downtown Chicago. One
of the world's busiest airports, Chicago O'Hare is a hub of national
air transportation in the United States. Recently, the airport was
voted 'Best Airport in North America' by international travelers.
O’Hare airport is so big that it can be
intimidating, but the operation is usually efficient. After the
recent success of development projects involving the international
terminal and the ATS, future plans include programmes that will
address improved concessions and noise reduction.
Airport Review
This is an excellent small lounge facility adjacent to the Red Carpet
Club.¬Ý Although not lavishly appointed, it is very
tasteful and comfortable.¬Ý The staff are friendly and
provide an excellent food service with gourmet nibbles, decent wines,
spirits and beers, and espresso. One particularly nice amenity is
direct access to one of the main jetways used for international 747
and 777 departures, so that you can access the plane directly from
the lounge.
