Benefit being held on September 6th during New York Fashion Week hosted by director/photographer David LaChapelle and "City of God" actress Alice Braga (please see attached invitation). The event will benefit a brand new charity called Voice of the Streets Brazil, The Bahia Project.
The mission of Voice of the Streets Brazil is to empower at-risk youth in Salvador, Brazil and provide them with a refuge of hope. Voice of the Streets Brazil will utilize theater, music, film, art, and dance programs to explore these youth's limitless potential.

The Benefit, which will be held at Churrascaria Plataforma TriBeCa, will include a screening of the award-winning film "Favela Rising," Brazilian musical and cultural performances, a silent auction featuring fine art and designer fashions from Rocawear, Diane von Furstenberg, and Geova shown by Brazilian models, and of course, an open bar featuring Brazilian cocktails. Churrascaria Plataforma will provide the evening's hors. Celebrity DJ John John will provide the music.
