. As travelers increasingly take to online review Web sites with descriptive reports of their hotel stays, hotel managers are getting more proactive in tracking their reviews and responding to complaints quickly. Law allowing smaller Atlantic City casino hotels expected to draw fire . A new law expected to be introduced next week would allow four new, smaller casino-hotels in Atlantic City, N.J., representing the largest expansion of legalized gambling since it began in the city 32 years ago. The current minimum number of rooms for a new casino is 500, and the newest casinos have 1,000 or more. But the law would allow four casinos with at least 200 rooms, and the legislation is expected to be met by strong opposition from existing casinos that don't approve of newcomers being allowed to enter the market at discount prices. ABetterStay.com has introduced a "Ratings and Reviews" section where travelers can give their option about its properties and talk about their experience with other travelers. It has a ratings system that allows travelers to evaluate a property on a scale of one to five stars, with five being the best. The ratings are a combined average of all the ratings that property has received from recent guests. The reviews section allows vacationers to describe their visit, provide feedback on the property and its location, and share their experiences in their own words. ABetterStay.com is an online site for booking vacation rentals, condos, resorts, timeshares, bed and breakfasts and other alternative, high-value lodging.
