Smoking
Most airlines do not allow smoking on board, but have smoking areas in their airport lounges. If you are permitted to smoke on some restricted flights or areas:
  • Do not smoke when the "No Smoking" light or sign is on.
  • Do not smoke in the toilets or when walking in the aisles.
  • Use the ashtrays, not the floor.

The effects of smoking are worsened in a pressurized cabin, increasing discomfort to the eyes and throat. Even if you have a supply of cheaper, duty-free cigarettes, try not to smoke more than usual.
